The World Corrosion Organization has declared April 24 as Corrosion Awareness Day!
This year, the Corrosion Testing Laboratory, together with the entire academic community, celebrates the World Corrosion Awareness Day for the first time. Without a doubt, the problem of corrosion affects us all, often without our awareness. Therefore, we would like to draw your attention to this phenomenon and encourage you to participate in the following attractions:
- 24/7 Live stream on the Electrochemistry Group YouTube channel where you can find the "Corrosion Countdown Timer" experiment, which is available to you until Corrosion Awareness Day - April 24, 2023. This is an unusual time countdown associated with the possibility of 24-hour observation of the progress of corrosion of carbon steel and stainless steel in a corrosive solution of sodium chloride.
