- Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, specialisation: 'Electronic Instrumentation', graduated in 1992. (thesis: “Programme for sensitivity analysis of generation systems”).
- Doctoral dissertation "Use of decision tables for synthesis of electronic circuits". (supervisor: Leon Lasek, D.Sc.) defended with honors in 2002.
- Assistant professor since 2002.

- Algorithms and software development for analysis and synthesis of electronic circuits support.
- Symbolic analysis in the analysis and synthesis of electronic circuits.
- Analog technology.
- AI in analog (integrated) circuit design.
- Application of graph theory to interdisciplinary issues.
- Application of the interval arithmetic in optimization of analog circuits.
- Technical aspects of astronomical imaging.
