Short scientific biography:

  • Master's degree in Electronics and Telecommunications, specialisation: 'Electronic Instrumentation', graduated in 1992. (thesis: “Programme for sensitivity analysis of generation systems”).
  • Doctoral dissertation "Use of decision tables for synthesis of electronic circuits". (supervisor: Leon Lasek, D.Sc.) defended with honors in 2002.
  • Assistant professor since 2002.

Scientific interests

  • Algorithms and software development for analysis and synthesis of electronic circuits support.
  •  Symbolic analysis in the analysis and synthesis of electronic circuits.
  • Analog technology.
  • AI in analog (integrated) circuit design.
  • Application of graph theory to interdisciplinary issues.
  • Application of the interval arithmetic in optimization of analog circuits.
  • Technical aspects of astronomical imaging.

  • Author of several scientific publications.
  • Several reviews in journals:
    • Integration, the VLSI Journal,
    • IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers,
    • Open Journal of Circuit and Systems.
  • Completion of the postgraduate course in "Pedagogical Preparation" organized by the Institute of Education and Communication Research of the Silesian University of Technology in the academic year 2020.

Teaching Achievements

  • Supervisor of several dozen master's and engineering theses.
  • Preparation of new lectures, development of new laboratory equipment and new subjects in Polish and English, among others:
    • Analog Circuit Design

Prizes and awards

  • Silver Medal of the National Education Commission in 2017.
  • Chancellor's First-Degree Award for scientific activity in 2002,
  • Chancellor's Awards: third degree for teaching activity in 2015.
