Dear Partners and Colleagues,
It is our great pleasure to invite colleagues from our partner institutions worldwide to participate in the Erasmus+ Staff Week at the Silesian University of Technology, which will take place in Gliwice, Poland, from June 15 to June 19, 2026.
This year’s edition will be held under the theme:
“Green and Circular University Campus – From Vision to Practice”
The programme, prepared in cooperation with the Faculty of Energy and Environmental Engineering, will offer a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to sustainability in higher education, combining academic sessions, practical demonstrations, and networking opportunities. Participants will have the opportunity to:
✔ Explore the concept of a green and circular university from a system perspective
✔ Learn about healthy campus environments, including indoor environmental quality and biological safety
✔ Discover modern methods of environmental and air quality monitoring
✔ Exchange experiences and present their institutions during interactive networking sessions
✔ Take part in a study visit to the historic Guido Coal Mine, showcasing regional transformation
✔ Gain insights into circular resource management, including biowaste and biogas systems
✔ Learn about renewable energy solutions implemented on campus
✔ Engage in discussions on the social role of universities in climate action and circular economy
✔ Connect with Erasmus students and learn about their mobility experiences
✔ Enjoy social and cultural activities, including a city tour and networking events
The week will combine lectures, workshops, field visits, and informal networking to create a dynamic and engaging experience for all participants.
A final programme will be shared soon. In the meantime, we kindly encourage you to save the date and review the preliminary programme.

All fees are covered by SUT
If a participant does not receive any financial support from SUT or their home institution, travel and accommodation costs shall be covered by the participant themselves.

Staff interested in joining our International Staff Training Week with a grant from the Erasmus+ KA171 program should contact their home university's international office to learn more about available spots.
More information about the Erasmus+ KA171 program and a list of our current partner universities can be found HERE.
If you are a recipient of a KA171 grant, your scholarship will be paid after your arrival.
