First-year students visited Nikola Tesla Technical Secondary School during its Open Days
On April 17, during the Open Day at the Nikola Tesla Mechanical and Electrical Technical School in Chorzów, first-year Industrial Informatics students paid a nostalgic visit to their former secondary school. Returning to the halls of “Tesla” was a special opportunity for them to meet their teachers again, revisit school memories, and share their first academic experiences with eighth-grade students visiting the school.
With great commitment, they supported younger students by talking about their educational paths and showing what further development after graduating from TME can look like. Their presence was a wonderful testament to the strong bond alumni maintain with their school and a reminder that it is worth returning to the places where one’s future career path began.
We are proud that our first-year students represented both their degree program and their former school with pride. We hope that among Tesla’s current students are future students of the Silesian University of Technology, who in a few years will also return here as alumni to share their experiences.
