Open Day at the High School in Radzionków – April 24, 2025
Yesterday, on April 24th, Dr. Maciej Sajkowski represented the Silesian University of Technology at the “Open Day” event held at the High School in Radzionków.
The event was held under the honorary patronage of the Mayor of Radzionków and the Dean of the Faculty of Materials Engineering at the Silesian University of Technology.
Following a ceremonial welcome of guests from Bytom and the Tarnowskie Góry, the school presented its educational offer. Afterwards, students guided guests through the school building and subject-specific classrooms where workshops, competitions, and other attractions were held.
One of the main highlights of the day was a lecture by Dr. Maciej Sajkowski entitled “Games That Will Help You Become a Programmer.”
The event concluded with a formal award ceremony for the winners of competitions organized within the Radzionków municipality, with prizes presented by the Mayor, Dr. Gabriel Tobor, and Dr. Maciej Sajkowski on behalf of the Silesian University of Technology.
