Department of Industrial Informatics

On November 29, 2022, at the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology, a public defense of the doctoral dissertation was held by an employee of our Department, Mr. Eng. Piotr Ciepliński in the field of engineering and technical sciences, in the discipline of mechanical engineering. The defense took place in the stationary form.

The defense was chaired by dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Nowacki, prof. PŚ. Ph.D. promoters were dr hab. inż. Slawomir Golak, prof. PŚ and dr hab. inż. Marcin Blachnik, prof. PŚ, and the reviewers: prof. dr hab. inż. Krzysztof Santarek and dr hab. inż. Łukasz Rauch, prof. AGH.

During the defense, the doctoral student presented the main assumptions of the doctoral dissertation, and then responded to the reviewers' comments, and answered questions raised during the discussion.

The Doctoral Committee decided to adopt a resolution on accepting the public defense and preparing a draft resolution on conferring a doctoral degree on Mr. Piotr Ciepliński.

On November 30, 2022, the Discipline Council of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology awarded Mr. Piotr Ciepliński a doctoral degree in the field of engineering and technical sciences in the discipline of mechanical engineering.
