Opening of the Industry 4.0 Technology Testing Centre
A test production line will be opened at the Silesian University of Technology - the Industry 4.0 Technology Testing Centre. The line developed by APA Group presents various aspects of the production process that uses Industry 4.0 technologies.
The line is located in the Centre for New Technologies of the Silesian University of Technology. The demonstration stand allows for the presentation of new technologies and the possibilities of their implementation. The line simulates the welding process, but also allows testing of security systems, IT systems, production programming, modelling of the production system, data processing and using them to improve processes. The Industry 4.0 Technology Testing Centre was developed and built by APA Group. The centre is connected to a platform called NAZCA 4.0, which was also designed and developed by APA Group.
