The 6th Silesian Science Festival
Several hundred activities popularizing science and art - lectures, workshops, scientific shows, exhibitions, concerts, talks, debates and meetings with special guests – are included in the program of the 6th edition of the Silesian Science Festival.
The Silesian University of Technology will be present there!
Participation in the festival is free, and access to most activities is unlimited; however, you must download a free pass. In addition, participation in some activities requires registration.
Opening Gala of the 6th Silesian Science Festival (ŚFN) KATOWICE will take place on Saturday, December 3rd at the Planetarium - Silesian Science Park in Chorzów.
The main part of the festival will include two days of attractions in the building of the International Congress Centre in Katowice. On December 4th and 5th, participants will be able to take part in 6 areas of knowledge, exhibitions, lectures, debates and talks about science on 17 stages, workshops, science shows, special zones, competitions for promoters, schools and inventors, as well as this year's novelty - EXPO of science festivals.
On the first day at the International Congress Centre (MCK), the concert of the Fisz Emade Tworzywo group will be held at the end.
The Silesian Science Festival KATOWICE is one of the most important events in preparation for Katowice as the European City of Science 2024.
