We are pleased to announce that a grant has been awarded under the "Maintenance of Scientific and Research Equipment" (SPUB) project for the implementation of the project titled "A set of specialized devices for nanometric functionalization of biomaterial surfaces." The research project leader is PhD Marta Kiel-Jamrozik.

This set of specialized devices comprehensively complements the biomaterial surface functionalization process, which is the final stage of biomaterial development. This equipment enables the production of multilayer coatings with individually designed parameters, which is crucial for ongoing research. Operating the devices requires specialized knowledge, while ongoing monitoring and regular maintenance are crucial to ensuring the high quality of the produced coatings and maintaining the continuity of the biomaterial surface functionalization process. This directly translates into the stability and continuity of ongoing research.

The research project underway includes the retrofitting, servicing, and maintenance of equipment for the nanometric functionalization of biomaterial surfaces, contributing to the further development of the unit's research resources.
