Rector's Small Grant for a student of the Macrocourse
Eng. Tomasz Walica, a second-cycle student in the field of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry, received a grant in the second competition for the Rector's Small Grant for the implementation of a research project entitled "Modern solutions in crystallization engineering". The aim of the project is to conduct complex experiments to analyze and understand the mechanisms of nucleation and crystal growth during processes such as isohydric crystallization by cooling the solution or precipitation crystallization. In the implementation of the above-mentioned processes, modern solutions such as 3D printing or the addition of polymeric substances to control the course of crystallization will be used.
