At the exhibition, we will present physical models, digital models and augmented reality models of selected public spaces in the city of Zabrze. The exhibition is organized in cooperation with the city of Zabrze, the international project ARCHEA, as well as under the patronage of the Silesian Branch of the Society of Polish Town Planners. The exhibition was prepared by the 3rd year students of the Faculty of Architecture as part of the subject of City Structure under the supervision of dr hab. inż. arch. Tomasz Bradecki.
Allesandro Camiz Özyeğin University, Faculty of Architecture and Design, Istanbul Alessandro Camiz graduated (BArch + MArch) in architecture from Sapienza University (Rome, 1999). Before graduating from school, he worked with Sartogo Architetti Associati for
New Italian Embassy (Washington) and the Church of the Holy Face of Jesus (Rome). WW 2007 He discussed a doctoral dissertation entitled "The History of Medieval Urban Planning in Ravenna"
(Sapienza), and there he attended postdoctoral studies until 2014. He taught at the Miami University School of Architecture and the Girne American University Faculty of Architecture (Cyprus), where he headed the international Center for Heritage Studies (ICHS) until 2018. He is a member of ICOMOS-Italy and the secretary general of the Cyprus Network for Urban Morphology (CyNUM). He is currently associate professor and director of the Laboratory for Dynamic Urban Morphology Research (DRUM) at Özyeğin University, Istanbul. His main research interests include architectural design, urban morphology and advanced digital technologies for the documentation and conservation of architectural heritage.
Prof. Lamberto Amistadi University of Bologna, Faculty of Architecture, Cesena. Lamberto Amistadi is Associate Professor of Architecture and Town Planning at the University of Bologna. He is deputy director of the online magazine "FAMagazine" dedicated to research and projects in architecture and the city, and co-director of the series "TECA. Teorie della Composizione architettonica ”(Clean). Together with Ildebrando Clemente, he founded and directs the series "SOUNDS: Theory and Architectural Openness" (Aión), which includes monographic volumes about John Hejduk and Aldo Rossi. He is the author of many publications, including the books Paesaggio come rappresentazione (Clean, 2008), La costruzione della città (Il Poligrafo, 2012), Architettura e Città (with Enrico Prandi, FAEdizioni 2016). In 2018 He won the position of Coordinator and Director of Science in the invitation to the Erasmus + Strategic Partnership at European level at European level, entitled "ARCHEA Architectural European Medium-Large Arrangement".
