Silesian University of Technology as IT Leader at European Review Week 2025
Between 12 and 16 May 2025, the prestigious European Review Week 2025 conference took place, held under the umbrella of EURECA-PRO – The European University on Responsible Consumption and Production. The event brought together representatives of partner universities, subject-matter experts, and decision-makers committed to advancing modern, sustainable higher education.
As an active member of the EURECA-PRO consortium, the Silesian University of Technology had the honour of serving as the leader of the IT Task Force. The University was represented in this capacity by Piotr Sąsiedzki, Director of the University’s Computer Centre, who heads the team responsible for coordinating digital solutions. During a series of meetings and workshops, the Director outlined the strategic directions for developing IT infrastructure that supports the implementation of joint educational and research initiatives. The results of the work completed to date were also presented, including progress in the digital integration of partner universities’ systems, as well as proposals for further improvements in the IT domain to enhance the mobility of students and academic staff.
The participation of the Silesian University of Technology in European Review Week 2025 as a leader in the field of information technologies confirms the University’s strong position within the European academic landscape and its ongoing commitment to the development of innovative digital solutions that contribute to a sustainable future for education.
