Establishing cooperation with the city of San Vittore del Lazio by the Department of Theory, Design and History of Architecture of the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology
On September 24th, a meeting was held at the San Vittore de Lazio city hall between Mayor Nadia Bucci and City Council representative Livia Casoni, with Professor Magdalena Żmudzińska-Nowak, representing the Department of Theory, Design, and History of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology. The meeting focused on establishing cooperation between the city and the Silesian University of Technology.
After reviewing the municipality's challenges in the conservation, protection, and promotion of architectural heritage, the Department presented its offer of possible cooperation.
San Vittore del Lazio is a city founded in the 9th century on the historic Route of St. Benedict in the Lazio region of Italy. The first stage of the project will be for the Department of RAR-3 to prepare conceptual designs for the revitalization of the city's historic center and the conservation and adaptation of the ruins of the Church of the Holy Cross. We hope that our activities will effectively support the city authorities' initiative in protecting cultural heritage.
