On September 23, 2025, an international debate took place at the Granaio dell Arte cultural center in Arnara, focusing on projects for the modernization and adaptation of the industrial heritage of the former Cartiera di Ceprano paper mill in the Lazio region. These projects were developed by the Department of Theory, Design, and History of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology.

The meeting was hosted by Professor Claudius Pratsch, director of the center, and the exhibition curator was Professor Magdalena Żmudzińska-Nowak, head of the RAR-3 departments.

Participants in the debate included Professor Claudius Pratsch, SFA Berlin; Professor Andrea Dung, Hochschule Bremen; Professor Assunta Pelliccio and Professor Marco Saccucci, University of Cassino and Southern Lazio; Professor Magdalena Żmudzińska-Nowak, Faculty of Architecture, Silesian University of Technology, architect Francesco Maria de Angelis, President of the Chamber of Architects of the Lazio Region, architect Ivana Osini, Eco Museo Orgil of the Lazio Region, representatives of the city of Ceprano, and architecture students from the Hochschule Bremen and the Vienna University of Technology.

The presentation generated considerable interest and a lively discussion. The exhibition has already been invited to another presentation in spring 2026, this time on the Ceprano paper mill grounds, with the participation of city authorities and residents. Thanks to ongoing collaboration with the Department of Theory, Design, and History of Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology, there is a real chance of saving the valuable historic paper mill in Ceprano.
