On June 3-6, thanks to the cooperation of the Silesian University of Technology with the Technical University of Create (TUC) within the EURECA PRO project, Dr. Hab. Eng. Arch. Michał Sitek, prof. PŚ visited the Faculty of Architecture in Chania. The trip consisted of meetings with employees of the university, the faculty and students. The four-day stay allowed, among other things, participation in design classes carried out in the second year of studies. At the invitation of Professor Anna Karagianni, Mr. Michał Sitek also participated in the assessment of projects carried out under her supervision as part of the subject Digital Technologies in Architectural Design 2. Students presented the results of the work of teams developing tasks related to the phenomenon of digital nomads. Student projects presented examples of original solutions of mobile and temporary architecture, supporting the professional activities and life of digital nomads, a very large group of whom chose Chania as a place of temporary residence and work. Thank you for your kind welcome and support during the visit. We count on further cooperation in the field of student exchange and in the implementation of research and teaching projects.
