We are proud to announce the success of our student!
Jakub Ciszewski from the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology received a distinction in the prestigious, international competition "The Home of Shadows" organized by the Buildner platform. The jury composed of world-class architects appreciated his design of a house in which artificial lighting was completely abandoned, using only natural light. The conceptual building was designed in the Portuguese village of Monsanto, harmoniously fitting into the unique rocky surroundings.
The work was created as part of a master's thesis carried out under the supervision of Dr. Eng. Arch. Jan Kubec. Jakub has been developing his passion for architecture for years, combining it with 3D graphics and drawing - and this is just the beginning of his journey!
