On 14-15.09.2024, the 19th International Gliwice Construction Fair EXPOBUD took place in the Pre-Zero Arena building.

As part of the annual cooperation with the Organizers, the Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology organized a joint stand of the Silesian University of Technology together with the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology. The stand featured diploma projects of students of architecture and interior design, a model of the ancient temple complex in Delphi prepared by first-year students of architecture, hydroponic plant cultivation with a research station prepared by employees of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Technology, and samples of innovative building materials (foam concrete, road asphalt) developed by researchers from the Faculty of Civil Engineering.

The stand received the main creative award in the "Stand Arrangement" category.

The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by:
