Scholarship of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for a PhD student from the Faculty of Architecture
June 21 this year Mr. M.Eng. Arch. Jakub Bródka, by decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, received a prestigious scholarship for outstanding young scientists for significant achievements in scientific activities. Among the honored researchers representing 53 scientific disciplines, he is the only representative of the discipline of architecture and urban planning in the country.
MSc. arch. Jakub Bródka is a doctoral student at the Doctoral School of the Silesian University of Technology and the University of Pisa (IT) and a teacher at the Faculty of Architecture, in the RAr-3 Department. His research concerns the history of 20th century architecture, with particular emphasis on the architectural heritage of the Polish People's Republic and the issue of its protection. He is the author and co-author of international scientific articles, studies, urban and architectural concepts and award-winning competition projects.
