On December 12, a test run of the glass fusing furnace and a test firing of the first glass elements took place. The glass furnace is an important element of the equipment of the Ceramics, Glass and Stained Glass Workshop in the branch in Katowice. Prof. took part in several-hour workshops conducted by an artist from Poznań. World Cup Klaudiusz Fross and Dr. Krzysztof Groń. The effects of the trial work could be seen and assessed only on the second day after the entire cycle and the furnace had cooled down.

An offer of paid ceramics and glass fusing workshops is being prepared. Those interested are welcome to pre-register at the RAr5 Department office.

Glass is a beautiful and graceful material of artistic expression. I encourage you to create ambitious glass works. The fusing technique enables fusing glasses and other elements, e.g. metal, as well as creating patterns, painting and shaping glass. The art of fusing requires great skills and considerable financial outlays, which is why all elements of the creative process must be carefully planned, prepared and thought out. The workshops renewed memories from over 25 years ago about a stained glass workshop that once ran.
