We invite you to the next lecture from the Masters of Architecture series, which will take place at the Silesian Museum in Katowice. Cristiano Billia, an architect who serves as the managing director of the Milan branch of David Chipperfield Architects, will come to Katowice. The lecture will take place on April 4, 20244, at 18:00.

David Chipperfield is an architect who needs no introduction. The studio he founded in 1985 has gained international recognition for its approach to architecture, characterized by concern for the social and ecological impact of the broadly understood built environment on the collective quality of life. For his lifetime achievement, David Chipperfield was awarded the Pritzker Prize in 2023.

Cristiano Billia joined the London team of David Chipperfield Architects in 2002, and in 2008 he moved to the company's newly established branch in Milan, which he still manages today. Among the many projects he managed, it is worth mentioning the restoration of the famous Stara Prokuracja at St. Square. Mark in Venice. It was there that David Chipperfield and his team celebrated winning the Pritzker Prize. Currently, Cristiano Billia is working on the design of a new university campus in Padua, as well as a mixed-use complex in Dubai.
