On the brick wall of the Ip, next to the Deans' plaques, there is a commemorative plaque presenting the historical successes of the Faculty during the dean's term of office 2016-2024. It is worth stopping and looking at how much we have achieved.

“Every success is an individual and collective effort, it also requires great commitment and hard work. An individual's success is often made up of individual successes. It is not easy to achieve them. Support and a good atmosphere are important. We know that success is not a given. You have to strive, strive and fight for them. I am proud that the years 2016-2024 were a unique period in which so much was achieved. The board has not yet shown many other achievements in the field of NB and U work, research and creative work, winning competitions, conferences, festivals, exhibitions, as well as historical financial results, such as the largest BK subsidy, the highest financial result, the largest renovation fund or the highest subsidy external in the history of the Faculty.”

“When I took over the position of Dean, I couldn't even think about the many achievements listed. Some of them were downright impossible. We established ambitious development strategies, assigned tasks and moved forward every day. We dreamed, planned, implemented, constantly adapted to changing conditions and, most importantly, we were open and patient... and we succeeded. ... Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a dynamic development of the Faculty.”

"Successes are worth enjoying, worth promoting and always worth remembering, ... It is also worth taking care of continuity, ... and complaining is worth saving for worse times."
