The project made with Filip Gawin and Ania Czapla, under the supervision of Professor Andrzej Duda, won a bronze medal in the IOC IPC category IAKS Architecture and Design Award for Students and Young Professionals 2021 of the international competition organized by IAKS - International Association for Sports and Leisure Facilities. VARSO SPORT was selected from 44 entries from 14 different countries and was on the podium along with projects from China, Japan, Canada and Peru.
VARSO SPORT is a concept of a sports center, which would be located at Plac Defilad in Warsaw, opposite the newly established Museum of Modern Art, creating the entrance area of ​​the Palace of Culture and Science with it, and supplementing Plac Defilad with sports and integration functions. Due to the representative nature of the plot, an important factor was the desire to create space for all social groups. An innovative element is the public zone of the project - located under the building erected on 35-meter columns, the city stand, which serves as an integration of people related to sports, fans or ordinary passers-by.
