We cordially invite you to the public opening of the exhibition entitled 'Models of the Gliwice city structure' and presentation of mock-ups and 3D models in augmented and virtual reality. 

Opening July 1, 2022 at 12.00 Aula small, ground floor of the building of the 10th Faculty of Architecture of the Silesian University of Technology ul. Marcin Strzody 10, Gliwice

The exhibition can be viewed from 01.07. until 07/08/2022

The program includes a word of introduction, a 5-minute film presentation, a public presentation of students (about 7 minutes), comments from professors from outside POLSL (about 10 minutes), presentations of augmented reality models for testing for guests, questions and answers (from the audience), handing out diplomas. The entire event is planned for about 40 to 60 minutes.

The exhibition, organized thanks to the partners, is part of an international conference organized with the TRIALOG journal association under the patronage of the Society of Polish Town Planners Fr. Silesia and the Commission for Architecture and Town Planning of the Polish Academy of Sciences Fr. Katowice

During the exhibition, we will present models created on plotters and digital printers, as well as 3D models in augmented reality. The models can be tested using a smartphone application, placed on any flat surface (eg on a desk or floor) and compared with a physical model. The aim of the project is to present the possibilities of creative mapping of spatial information about cities, making models available to the public, demonstrating the possibilities of using augmented reality.
