Completed tasks related to the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers

Since 2017, the following tasks were carried out in the area of implementation of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers:

 

2018

Development and provision of central databases in Polish and English covering:

  • Database of experts
  • Database of research infrastructure
  • Patent database
  • Laboratories database
  • Technology database

 

2019

Introduction of a new periodical evaluation criteria form for individual groups of academic teachers, types of positions, as well as the mode and entity making the evaluation

Introduction of amended working regulations to reflect the introduction of the task-based working time system for academic staff

Introduction and development of an incentive system for students, postgraduates and staff in the form of quality programmes

Launch of the Joint Doctoral School and first recruitment for the Doctoral School of the Silesian University of Technology

Launch of InterPOWER - an interdisciplinary training programme for the new intake of the Doctoral School with international reach

2020

Introduction of new Remuneration regulations

Introduction of an employment policy at Silesian University of Technology and a procedure and documentation related to the employment of academic staff in accordance with the OTM-R principles.

Implementation of a programme to support the enhancement of the capacity of young researchers to publish in high-impact journals and to apply for prestigious international projects under the Excellence Initiative - Research University Programme.

Launch of a pro-quality programme of cumulative investment in the development of internationalisation, under the Excellence Initiative - Research University programme

Launch of a "Science" portal within the structure of the Silesian University of Technology website, which will present in one place the most important information about the opportunities, support and implementation of the research activities of the Silesian University of Technology.
