We are pleased to announce that there is a possibility of another participation of students of the Silesian University of Technology in the summer school organized by the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT).

This is the third edition in which students of the Silesian University of Technology can participate. In previous years, 13 people have benefited from it.

BIT Summer School is an excellent opportunity to gain international academic experience, develop language skills and learn about Chinese culture.

The program includes classes taught in English and additional cultural and integration activities (several programs are available).

Time frame: 6th July 2025 – 2nd August 2025

In addition, there is the possibility of obtaining 4 ECTS credits.

Important information:
• Applications in the first stage are accepted by Erasmus+ Coordinators at the Faculty: https://www.polsl.pl/rn3-1-dwz-swm/koordynatorzy-wydzialowi-programu-erasmus/)
• Then the nomination form is sent to THE BIT, by the staff of the International Mobility Office.
• Silesian University of Technology has 10 places in the program.
• In the case of a larger number of applications, the qualifications will be determined by fulfilled requirements announced by THE BIT and academic results (from the last 2 semesters, or 1 semester in the case of master’s studies).

Please send the protocols regarding qualified students (by the Faculty Coordinators) to our Office by April 11th, 2025, so that we can send the nominations by mid-April.

After accepting the nomination, students will be required to submit their application on the BIT platform by May 15th, 2025.
