The Silesian University of Technology, as an innovative science and research university, cooperates with the Erasmus+ program. This program enables the initiation of scientific and research contacts, the development of international programs and the partnership of universities around the world. It is under this program, on 01/05/2023-05/05/2023, that Dr. Eng. Simona Kliś completed an internship abroad in Jordan, at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST) in Irbid. After a cordial invitation and acceptance from the scientific staff of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Dr. Eng. Simona Kliś presented two lectures in the field of environmental engineering and logistics for undergraduate and graduate students. Both lectures enjoyed great interest from the audience. Students willingly and actively participated in the classes, and after the lectures, a discussion took place on the differences regarding the subject of lectures, teaching methods and the two countries' approach to the subject of environmental engineering and logistics. The added value of this trip was learning about the cultural and educational differences of a non-EU country with such a different culture. In addition, as a result, cooperation with JUST was established, and the opportunity to participate in future scientific and research projects was developed.
