The 18th European Economic Congress with participation of the Silesian University of Technology
The 18th European Economic Congress is will soon take place. From the 22nd to 24th of April 2026, the International Congress Centre and “Spodek” in Katowice will once again become an arena for meetings of leaders of business, politics, administration, science, and media. The event will also feature the Silesian University of Technology and our experts.
This year’s EEC will focus the participants’ attention on the most important challenges facing Europe and its economy today – from security and competitiveness, through investment and energy transformation, to technologies and directions for further development.
The motto of the 18th edition of the Congress is the Power of Dialogue and fits perfectly into the current geopolitical processes in the world.
The issues addressed during the Congress will include in particular topics relevant to the global and European economy, such as security and defence, industrial competitiveness, digitalisation, trade, labour market, logistics, finance, and international cooperation.
This year’s guests will include speakers from Poland and from many countries in Europe and the world. Their presence will give the debates a broad perspective and allow us to look at the most important economic processes through the prism of different development models, priorities of countries, market experience, and public policy directions.
Of course, the Silesian University of Technology will be present at the European Economic Congress. Today we invite you to our stand and to participate in debates with our experts. We will present the scientific potential of the Silesian University of Technology in key fields, such as space technologies, artificial intelligence, dual-use technologies, aerospace industry, or modern energy.
