On 24.04.2024, students of the Student Scientific Society of Computer Methods visited the headquarters of the KP Labs company in Gliwice. KP Labs is one of the few companies in Poland operating in the New Space industry. The company deals with the design and manufacture of satellites whose task is to observe the Earth and process the acquired data in orbit around the Earth. The complex process of designing satellites uses, among other things, the finite element method, which is of interest to the Circle.
The questions were many and concerned the way satellites work, project management, sending satellites into orbit, component technology and many other issues. The event was very interesting and inspiring. Thanks to KP Labs for this meeting!
