On 6 June 2024, the 18th conference organised by the
Department of Mechanics and Computational Engineering and the
Student Scientific Circle of Computer Methods.
The topics of the papers were traditionally related to topics such as computer-aided engineering, mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, biomechanics, diagnostics, control, computer science, optimisation and experimental research.
This year, 30 papers were published in the conference proceedings. Sixteen papers were presented during the conference.
For many years, the conference has been patronised by the companies that are the supervisors of the specialisations carried out in our Department, namely: IBS Poland and MESco. These companies funded prizes in the form of free courses for selected speakers. The course in the use of selected programmes of the 3DExpirience platform funded by IBS Poland was given to Emilia Lewandowska and Mikołaj Majchrowski, while the course in the use of selected modules of Ansys software was given to Emilia Lewandowska and Rafał Stosur.
