On June 11, 2026, the 20th Anniversary Conference was held, organized by
the Department of Mechanics and Computational Engineering and
the Student Scientific Society of Computer Methods.
The topics of the papers included: computer-aided design, engineering projects, materials mechanics, thermodynamics, aerodynamics, diagnostics, control systems, computer science, optimization, and experimental research.
The conference proceedings will be published this fall in a monograph issued by the Silesian University of Technology Press.
During this year’s conference, 26 scientific papers were submitted, and 14 presentations were delivered.
Awards in the form of specialized courses on the use of selected software and platforms, for the best presentation, were funded by companies that have been collaborating with us for years.
IBS awarded prizes to Radosław Jedrzejczyk and Maksymilian Janicki.
MESCo awarded prizes to the following speakers: Miłosz Słowiak, Oskar Górka, Radosław Jedrzejczyk, and Maksymilian Janicki.
