We are pleased to announce that employees of our Department have received grants to carry out new research and scientific internships.
Prof. Waclaw Kuś received a Rector’s Professorship Grant under the Excellence Initiative – Research University (IDUB program).
Under the IDUB program, grants were also awarded to:
- Waldemar Mucha, Ph.D. – a grant to fund groundbreaking research entitled “Optimization of condition monitoring and fatigue processes of mechanical structures using artificial intelligence methods.”
- Anna Korczak, Ph.D. – grant for the start of scientific activity in a new research topic, entitled. “Application of the Finite Pointset Method for numerical modeling of bioheat flow in biological tissues“.
In addition, in the framework of the MINIATURE 7 competition organized by the National Science Center, the winner of the grant was Anna Korczak, PhD. The grant will be connected with a research internship, and the title of the project is “Application of the Finite Pointset Method for numerical modeling of biofluid flow in biological tissues and solving inverse problems.”
