On November 28, 2025, the Maria Skłodowska-Curie Patron's Day was celebrated at the Chemical, Medical, and General Secondary School Complex in Tarnowskie Góry. During the ceremony, Beata Krupińska, PhD, Eng, and Mariusz Krupiński, PhD, DSc, Eng, Prof. of the Silesian University of Technology, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, received the title of "Friend of the Chemist," presented by Monika Franusik, M.A., Principal, and Anna Kubica, Deputy Starost of Tarnowskie Góry, in gratitude for their commitment and support of the School.
