On March 23, 2023, a meeting was held to open the PBL projects under the Excellence Initiative - Research University program at the Silesian University of Technology led by tutor prof. Miroslaw Bonek, implemented on the basis of cooperation agreements with the Khmelnytskyi National University in Ukraine. The subject of the projects is related to laser surface treatment and laser cutting technology. The project is attended by students of Materials Engineering, Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and students of the Mathematics and Physics profile of the 5th Secondary School with Bilingual Departments. Andrzej Strug in Gliwice. On the Ukrainian side, the project is carried out by academic teachers and students from Electromechanics and Energy Systems.
The seminar was opened by the Rector of Khmelnytskyi National University prof. Serhii Matiukh, former Rector prof. Mykola Skyba and leading projects on the Ukrainian side prof. Oleh Polishchuk.
The effects of the cooperation will be presented at the International Student Scientific Conference TalentDetector2023_Summer, which will take place on June 26, 2023 in Brenna.
