Research interests

• nanostructured polymeric, ceramic, metal, composite materials and hybrid composites, including bimodal and their characteristics,
•laser processing, surface engineering, thin films, 3D printing,
• analysis of the micro and nanostructure and properties of heat and/or plastic treated cast aluminum and magnesium alloys,
• investigation of the relationship between the microstructure and the mechanical and functional properties of light alloys, including aluminum, magnesium and titanium alloys,
• synergism of the effect of heat and surface treatment on the mechanical and functional properties of engineering materials,
•novel photovoltaic systems,
• nanofibrous polymer materials with special physical properties,
• processing of polymeric materials,
• analysis of the properties and structure of engineering materials and new technologies for processing hard-to-recycle waste.


Scientific career

•From September 1, 2001, a PhD student at the Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.

•From August 21, 2006 as an assistant at the Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.

• From December 22, 2006 as an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Engineering Materials and Biomaterials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice. • From December 1, 2014 as Associate Professor at the Institute of Engineering and Biomedical Materials at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology in Gliwice.
