Scientific career
My scientific activity includes the analysis of the Computational Materials Science. The result of my many years of work is a collection of about 162 publications (of which 24 are indexed in the JCR database) concerning Computer-aided materials engineering. My Hirsch coefficient is 12. Thanks to my publishing activity in journals with Impact Factor and in international journals, I was a laureate of the competition for the International Visegrad Foundation Scholarship for the implementation of scientific projects with the University in Miskolc in Hungary. In 2012, 2016 and 2017, I received a scholarship from the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering to finance participation in international scientific conferences as part of a pro-quality competition in the field of scientific research organized at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Silesian University of Technology: „7th Symposium on Vacuum Based Science and Technology in conjunction” Kołobrzeg, Polska, 2013 oraz „TheWorld Congress on Advances in Civil, Environmental, and Materials Research”, Jeju, Korea, 2016 I have been awarded and distinguished with several international and national medals and awards for scientific and international activities, Diploma of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for the project: ” Forecasting the durability of elements working in creep conditions with the use of artificial intelligence methods” and „Computer simulation of residual stresses of two-layer PVD coatings on sintered high-speed steel”. I got it Team Award of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology I degree “For achievements in the scientific field”, That Social Prize of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, 3rd degree “For achievements in the organizational field” I have been member of international program committees, member of the organizing committees of international and national scientific conferences. I have completed several research internships and visits to foreign research and academic centers as part of the CEEPUS, SOCRATES ERASMUS, ERASMUS + programs and implementing international bilateral agreements. I have completed internships in foreign research or academic centers at the following universities: University of
Dublin in Irleand, University of Rijeka in Croatia, University in Miskolc in Hungary, University in Vigo in Spain, University of Zilina in Slovakia and Politechnic in Torino in Italy.
