Visit of pupils from Wizyta uczniów Schools Complex no 1 in Piekary Śląskie
On 21.04.2023, our Department has been visited by pupils of the informatics class, and electric class from Schools Complex no 1 in Piekary Śląskie. The employees of our department organized special classes for our guests:
- informatics: Game with AI, was conducted by dr hab. inż. Sławomir Golak prof. PŚ and Smartphone on the desktop. Desktop on the smartphone was conducted by dr inż. Adrian Smagór.
- electric: Analysis of AC circuits and measurement of power and energy in single-phase electrical circuits. The electric class was conducted by dr inż. Grzegorz Kopeć and dr hab. inż. Albert Smalcerz, prof. PŚ.
The third group of pupils was interested in computer graphics. This class was conducted by dr inż. Grzegorz Junak, an employee of the Material Technology Department.
Also, the pupils had the occasion for took part in two lectures. The first one was about the educational offer of the Faculty of Materials Engineering, which was conducted by dr hab. inż. Albert Smalcerz, prof. PŚ and dr inż. Monika Hyrcza-Michalska. The second lecture was held on the occasion of the opening of the Students Activity Center. The second lecture was about our students' activity in Project Based Learning projects and it was conducted by prof. dr hab. inż. Janusz Adamiec.
