GetIT Student Research Group
Programming is not only writing code in one of many different languages, it is also the process of designing, creating, testing and maintaining source code for computer programs or microprocessor devices. It does not matter whether you already program well in C++, PHP, Python, Arduino or maybe you just want to learn something specific? The important thing is that you have the desire, ambition and want to gain knowledge and experience. Come - take your chance, tell us about your interests, and together we will create an interesting project.
The aim of the Circle is, among other things, to develop programming skills and an engineering approach to solving tasks. Since professional work requires imagination in addition to specialist knowledge, GetIT meetings are a time for sharing what really fascinates us and what we want to do with our careers.
We would like to invite you to the GetIT fanpage!
The tutor of the club and the supervisor of the robotics section is Joanna Lisok, PhD
The supervisor of the robotics section and Academic High School club from Rybnik is Maciej Sajkowski, PhD
The tutors of the programming section are:
Łukasz Maliński, PhD and Adam Kachel, PhD

Our main goal is to enable ambitious students to develop their interests. It is worth cooperating with us, and since we deal with many branches of computer science, everyone will find something for themselves. You will meet people fascinated by software development methodologies and algorithmics and people interested in modern web technologies and robotics. We strongly believe that through joint learning, meetings, workshops, lectures, and projects, we will build an extraordinary community representing Industrial Informatics in Silesia.
You can join us by contacting the Circle mentor or indirectly by contacting a current Circle member. Sign up, come and let yourself be programmed into broadly understood programming in at least one section of GetIT!
