Piotr Nowak's success in the "Universities of the Future" project

We are pleased to announce that Piotr Nowak, a Management and Production Engineering student, has received a scholarship as the winner of the first edition of the "Universities of the Future" project.
His innovative idea was recognized by the Business Team for Innovative Education, selected by the National Centre for Research and Development. As a result, Piotr will receive a PLN 20,000 scholarship for his research and development project, which is being carried out under the supervision of Dr. Roksana Poloczek.
The "Universities of the Future" project is an initiative aimed at students from the country's top universities, aimed at supporting academic entrepreneurship, creativity, and the personalization of education. Twelve universities, including the Silesian University of Technology, participated in the first edition. From among the numerous applications, an independent committee selected the 10 best projects that received funding.
The scholarship award ceremony took place in the Senate Hall of the Silesian University of Technology, attended by the university authorities – Rector Prof. Marek Pawełczyk and Vice-Rector for Student Affairs and Education Prof. Anna Chrobok. We congratulate Piotr on his success and wish him continued success in implementing his project and continued scientific and professional achievements!
