Certificate from the Accreditation Commission for Technical Universities

28 January 2019 The Accreditation Commission for Technical Universities (KAUT – Komisja Akredytacji Uczelni Technicznych), has granted accreditation for the Faculty of Materials Engineering for first and second degree studies, which are conducted at the Faculty. The accreditation has been granted for a period of 5 years from the academic year 2018/19 to 2022/23. During these years, all graduates of the course in materials engineering will receive a KAUT certificate together with their graduation diploma.

Certificate “Studies with a Future”

In our Faculty, this certificate was awarded to:
Industrial Informatics – first degree course. In addition, it was awarded the “Laurel of Innovation” – extraordinary certificate, awarded in the first edition of the National Accreditation Programme “Studies with a Future”. The programme is organised by the Foundation for the Development of Education and Higher Education and the PRC Creative Agency.

Postgraduate studies in Lean Manufacturing
(also a specialization in manufacturing engineering) realized by stuff of the Department of Production Engineering. Lean Manufacturing studies have been recognized as a field of study that stands out on the market as the most innovative and original in terms of teaching content, applied teaching methods and methods of evaluation of educational results.

Material Engineering (practical profile) – a second degree course realized in Katowice at the Faculty of Materials Engineering. This distinction testifies to the quality and modernity of education provided at our Faculty. It also confirms that the curricula are adapted to the needs of the labour market, which gives the graduates an opportunity for interesting and attractive employment conditions.
