Our teams' successes at the Creaton Hackathon

Two teams from our faculty participated in the Hackathon Creaton event, organized by the Silesian University of Technology in collaboration with partners:

ORLEN S.A. – strategic partner
ORLEN Południe S.A. – content partner

Second place went to the team consisting of Piotr Olesik, Michał Kostka, and Kacper Komoniewski for their project entitled "Modern, high-performance sorption materials for carbon dioxide capture from exhaust gases."
The SKN Smart Production team, consisting of Paulina Kubas, Oliwia Bursztynowicz, and Agata Miąskiewicz, presented an innovative project entitled "Production of smart clothing using ethylene glycol (MEG)."
Participants had the opportunity to test their skills, gain practical experience, and face real-world challenges in three key areas:

chemistry
environmental protection
energy

It was a day full of inspiration, collaboration, and innovation! Congratulations to the winners!
