Our PhD student on the international stage - VILNIUS TECH PhD Summer School

Our PhD student, Klaudia Micor, MSc, participated in the unique PhD Summer School organized by Vilnius TECH. This intensive event created a space for scientific development, experience exchange, and international collaboration. The program included workshops led by experts from:

  • Vilnius TECH (Lithuania)
  • Oulu University (Finland)
  • Hellenic Mediterranean University (Crete)

There was also an inspiring meeting with an Elsevier representative, who shared practical knowledge on effective publishing in renowned scientific journals. The school focused on key skills for young scientists:

  • analysis and selection of scientific literature
  • tools supporting writing and publishing (including in the context of AI)
  • building research visibility and scientific communication
  • creativity as an integral element of research

Participants also had the opportunity to experience the charms of Vilnius and Trakai, which further enriched the cultural dimension of the event.

Congratulations, Ms. Klaudia! Your activity and commitment are the best proof that the Faculty of Materials Science and Engineering has a strong and visible presence also in the international scientific community!
