Green Technologies in Materials Engineering

On May 16, 2025, we had the pleasure of welcoming to our faculty the participants of the "Green Technologies in Materials Science" project, co-financed by the European Union under the Just Transition Fund (FESL.10.25-IZ.01-0796/23-00, project number at the Silesian University of Technology: 11/030/FSD24/1211).

One group participated in a series of workshops from Task 3, which focused on the application of artificial intelligence to optimize the processing of thermoplastic waste. The second group continued their participation in a series of workshops from Task 6, where they explored Industry 4.0 and mechatronics in the context of waste material separation.
