"Engineering Suits You" – inspiring workshops for high school students

On May 13, 2025, a unique workshop for high school students took place, organized under the slogan "Engineering Suits You." The event aimed not only to introduce young women to the world of science and technology, but above all, to build their self-confidence and show them that their place is also—and perhaps primarily—in engineering.

Participants had the opportunity to participate in workshops led by female scientists and engineers: Dr. Sandra Grabowska, Dr. Agnieszka Tomaszewska, Dr. Marta Mikuśkiewicz, and Dr. Roksana Poloczek, who shared not only their specialized knowledge but also their own career journeys. The meeting provided a platform for exchanging experiences, inspiration, and motivation to boldly pursue their own career paths.

The program included workshops on topics such as smart materials, sustainable development, leadership skills, and artificial intelligence. All of this took place in an atmosphere of mutual support and openness that fostered learning and development. The initiative was implemented in collaboration with the Center for Modern Education at the Silesian University of Technology, the Perspektywy Education Foundation, and Stellantis.

This event demonstrated that bringing girls together with technology is not just about education – it's also about investing in the future.
