A student of our faculty with a scholarship from the Minister of Science and Higher Education
Students of the Silesian University of Technology have won the most scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education among all technical universities in Poland. Among them is Ms. Anna Mrowiec, a student from our faculty – congratulations!
"These are highly ambitious students who have engaged in scientific research, collaborate closely with our distinguished professors and assistant professors, and publish in scientific journals, thus carrying out work that is at the heart of scientific activity. Some of the awarded students intend to link their future with the Silesian University of Technology by joining the Doctoral School and later planning employment at the university," said the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Professor Marek Pawełczyk. The awarded students emphasize that the University actively supports their scientific development, which certainly influenced the award.
"Beyond core classes, we can participate in conferences and many excellent scientific projects organized by student groups and lecturers. University staff encourage students to be involved in such activities," said Michał Pendziałek, a student majoring in nuclear energy.
