0ME – 46 video extensometer, a system that enables non-contact measurement of sample deformation. Thanks to the very high resolution of the recorded image, it allows you to track the properties of materials at very small deformations. The system is highly accurate, versatile, and is ideal for non-contact deformation measurements. The video extensometer acts as a strain gauge by continuously measuring the distance between the marked markers. The deformation is calculated by measuring the distance between the markers relative to the starting distance. The minimum resolution obtained during measurements depends on the size of the measurement field.
