The doctoral students returned from the MSCMP 2026 conference with awards!
Natallia Kareva and Beata Linek participated in the 11th International Conference on Materials Science & Condensed Matter Physics (MSCMP 2026), where they presented the results of their research in oral presentations.
Beata presented the mechanisms of the electrochemical oxidation of pyrimidines, demonstrating that the molecules can assemble in various ways—from simpler dimers to more rigid ladder-like structures—and that reaction conditions influence the structure and properties of the resulting material.
Natallia discussed research on acridine derivatives, demonstrating how minor changes in molecular structure affect the course of electrochemical reactions and the fate of the resulting intermediates—and, consequently, the potential for creating electroactive polymer layers.
Both doctoral students received Best Oral Presentation awards. Congratulations!
