Two projects for students of the Faculty of Chemistry with co-funding
Six projects for students of the Silesian University of Technology with co-funding received grants as part of the non-competitive project “Supporting students in the development of their competences and skills” (European Funds for Social Development Program 2021-2027) organized by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
Two of these will be conducted at the Faculty of Chemistry:
- “Analysis of the influence of sex hormones and xenestrogens on the activity of BK-type ion channels and selected aspects of the biology of human cancer cells” – co-financing amount: 65 070.54 PLN
Science Club of Bioinformatics, project supervisor: Dr Eng. Agata Wawrzkiewicz-Jałowiecka
- “Design of polymer materials and modern biosensors with potential application in biomedical engineering” – the amount of co-financing: 73 200 PLN
Science Club of Chemists, project supervisor: D Hab. Eng. Katarzyna Krukiewicz, Prof. of Silesian University of Technology
The aim of the project “Supporting students in the development of their competences and skills” is to support students in the development of their competences and skills, scientific activity, innovation and creativity, by enabling them to participate in international competitions and conferences.
