By the authority of the Head of the Department of Telecommunications and Telecommunications (DTT), Prof. Wojciech Sulk, Ph.D., based on the Resolution of the University Council No. 20/2023 of June 26, 2023 on the distribution of subsidies for the maintenance and development of research potential and the Order of the Rector of the Silesian University of Technology No. 66/2021, a competition for funding research tasks carried out by young scientists is announced. Young scientists, employed at DTT, or who are doctoral students of DTT employees, may apply for funding as individual applicants, or research teams composed of individuals who have successfully completed research tasks previously carried out at the University and financed under the subvention or statutory grant within the deadline.

A model application for funding a research task can be found on the DTT website. Applications should be addressed to Piotr.Zawadzki@polsl.pl. The deadline for submission of applications is set by the Commission on June 29, 2023.

A prerequisite for the settlement of the task is the submission of an article to a journal for which at least 70 points have been awarded in the list of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, current as of the date of submission, in the case of a research task carried out individually, or at least 140 points in the case of a research task carried out in a team.
