We continue the collection of donations for Ukrainian refugees

The Silesian University of Technology is collecting donations for refugees from Ukraine. Literally, everything is needed - food, blankets, sleeping bags, medicines, personal care and hygiene products for adults, children and babies.

Collections are conducted in several places at the University by the Volunteer Centre of the Silesian University of Technology. Dry food, canned food and hygiene products can be delivered to the Student Career Office at ul. Konarskiego 20. More information is available here Facebook.

The Faculty of Biomedical Engineering has also joined the refugee aid campaign and is collecting money for the youngest children. They need cots, washing detergents, hygiene products and baby care products, washing powders, first aid kits, dry and canned food, porridge, nappies, wet wipes, baby changing tables. Also, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering joins in the help for the refugees from Ukraine. The donation point is located on the ground floor of the Faculty at ul. Konarskiego 18A. Apart from the dry and canned food, you can also deliver cleaning and hygiene products, laundry detergents, first aid kits (packed as a whole with the expiry date provided) and blankets and sleeping bags. A collection point has also been set up at the Faculty of Chemistry. Donations can be brought to the lobby of the building at ul. B. Krzywoustego 4 (New Chemistry). The most needed are haemostatic dressings, power banks, warm clothes and blankets, air mattresses and medicines (paracetamol, ibuprofen).
