The 24th Science Picnic of Polish Radio and the Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw
What does creating video games, using modern technology, look behind the scenes? How do ecological, racing electric cars work? You can find out during the 24th Science Picnic of the Polish Radio and Copernicus Science Centre in Warsaw. The theme of this year's event is "Climate and Us".
The picnic will last from 8th to 15th of May and will be held online. For the fifth time, a representation of the Silesian University of Technology will take part in it, consisting of nine teams which will present various activities.
On Saturday, 8th of May at 12:30 p.m., a workshop "What does creating video games, using modern technology, look behind the scenes? - Interactive workshops" which will be led by Kamil Tulczyjew (Faculty of Automatic Control, Electronics and Computer Science) will be held as a part of the live weekend. Also on Saturday, 8th of May, at 5:00 PM, there will be a meeting entitled "Ecological and practical youth education - Silesian Greenpower - ecological, racing electric cars - meeting with a scientist - online". It will be hosted by Wojciech Siuta (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering). Link to registration for the meeting "Ecological and practical education of youth...".
Popular science films will appear between 10th and 15th of 15 May both on the event website and on the "24th Science Picnic" playlist of the Copernicus Science Centre YouTube channel.
